HISTORY

Sandra France Nichols, an icon in the Pacific Northwest for Morgan horses has bred 176 horses in her 40+ year career. Originally from Alaska, Sandra believes in training both the horse and rider as a pair, working from within and managing to each pair's individual abilities. She is known across the Morgan Horse community for her lifetime home-guarantee - any horse she's bred that owners find themselves in difficult times can be returned to Ensbrook, no questions asked. Some of those horses who have been returned have been rehabilitated and rehomed, bred, and others serve as lifelong lesson horses on the farm, a truly unique offering of the horse world.

Sandra is a one-of-a-kind horsewoman, she cares for all 30 acres of Ensbrook farm largely by herself, with hours of research being poured into the latest techniques training, feeding, grooming, and collaborates with farriers. After a part time career in her youth with a local equine vet, horses in her care receive the best expertise available in the Pacific Northwest where other breeders and training farms look to her experience and talent for some of their most challenging cases.
